Thank you for asking about the Sumari Living Arts Center. We explore and nurture consciousness and the mind - body - spirit connection.
The Sumari and Sumari-leaning people are the artists and independent slow-revolutionaries that add beauty and change cultures just by expressing their natural creative selves.
Conscious Living
We are creatives, and we live in the awareness that there is more to life than meets the eye. Consciousness forms matter, and along with living our physical lives we also interact with the quasi-physical and nonphysical realms regularly. Many of us are psychically connected with each other and also with others in other dimensions. Exploration of consciousness and energy isn't just a thing we sometimes do, it's part of who we are.
Living in this interconnectedness one realizes personal development and the development of our fellow individuals and communities is a priority. People must have the opportunities and encouragement to expand, grow and connect for the benefit of all. This process can be varied and multi-faceted, ranging from an evening art class for guidance in creativity and inspiration to the greater explorations of why are we here, and what can we do to help make this world a better place for all of us, and for our children.
Living Arts
You've seen the people who live as though every aspect of their lives is a creative work of art. They have grace and charm, are capable and successful in their businesses, their home lives and their communities. Their fulfillment radiates to those around them. If you are one of these people, perhaps you will consider sharing with us some of your methods. If you would like to become one of these people, you are invited to come share some of the methods we have already learned.
The Living Arts encompass the way we present ourselves and interact with each other, and our attitudes and perspectives, as well as what we think of as traditional creative endeavors such as painting and creative writing. Individual empowerment and personal responsibility serve us individually and benefit our communities, and can be encouraged and developed in creative ways from many angles.
